Day 1 – Sofia- Koprivshtiza- Starosel
Koprivshtitsa is a historic town in Sofia Province, central Bulgaria among the Sredna Gora Mountains. It is known for its authentic Bulgarian architecture and for its folk music festivals, making it a very popular tourist destination.
Koprivshtitsa is one of the most characteristic Bulgarian towns, still preserving the atmosphere of the Bulgarian National Revival period of the 19th century. The town boasts a large number of architectural monuments from the period, 383 in all, most of which have been restored to their original appearance. Collections of ethnographical treasures, old weapons, National Revival works of art, fine fretwork, household weaves and embroidery, national costumes and typical Bulgarian jewelry have also been preserved. It was here that the first shot of the April Uprising against the Ottoman domination was fired in 1876.

Day 2 – Starosel
The "STAROSEL" wine and spa complex is situated below the southern slopes of Sredna Gora Mountains, near to the unique Thracian royal cult center. Starosel offers its guests amazing views, award-winning cuisine, impressive wine-medalists and a unique feeling of peace, coziness and tranquility. The impressive architecture of the complex can be compared to an ancient monastery. The interior of the hotel is filled with natural materials and hand-crafted furniture and fabrics that present the magic of Bulgarian folklore.
The mineral water has a temperature of 54 degrees Celsius and is the hottest in the area. Mineral water has been used for bathing, and later for drinking, inhalation and external application. Mineral water heals diseases of the musculoskeletal system, muscles, disc hernias and radiculitis; diseases of the digestive system, liver and bile ducts, chronic hepatitis, kidney and urinary tract diseases.
In the center of the complex there is a Wine Cellar «Starosel», which offers wine tours and tastings for the guests of the complex.
In 2000, archaeologists discovered the largest Thracian tomb in Southeastern Europe. According to the scientists, it dates back to the end of the 5th century and the beginning of the 4th century BC and is probably of the Thracian ruler, Sitalk, the great king of the Odrysian kingdom. The necropolis consists of 8 mounds of different sizes. The tomb is made of well-crafted stone blocks, fastened together with lead brackets. Consists of: south parade staircase, two side corridors, representative façade, rectangular and round chamber. There are many Thracian mounds In Bulgaria, but the Thracian tomb in Starosel is preserved with all its splendor and keeps the spirit of the ancient Thracians.
The program includes visit of the tomb, wine tasting and free time for spa & relax. The complex offers a Jacuzzi with mineral water, steam baths, saunas, indoor mineral pool, and outdoor pool.
Day 3 – Starosel – Plovdiv – Sofia
After breakfast departure to Plovdiv. It is the second largest city in Bulgaria. Life in Plovdiv has not been interrupted for almost eight millennia, making its history extremely rich and interesting. The city is older than Rome, Athens, Carthage and Constantinople. It was a contemporary of ancient Troy. The present city rests on the remains of many former settlements, which determines its rich cultural heritage. The many peoples who inhabited the territory of the city have left traces in the 12 m thick cultural layers and constructions of Plovdiv.
The city is the most dynamically developing center in southern Bulgaria. Its economy is supported by a well-developed multi-profile industry, services, tourism and information technology. There are many cultural events taking place in Plovdiv as the International Fair, International Folklore Festival, etc.
Plovdiv is the city of Bulgaria, elected as European Capital of Culture for 2019 together with another European city - Matera in Italy.
The program includes visit of the old town with preserved Renaissance architecture, the clock tower, the ancient pharmacy, numerous archaeological excavations and the unique Ancient Theater; the "Main" street - pedestrian zone in the center of Plovdiv with many sights: the largest park, "Tsar Simeon's Garden" with the "Singing fountains", beautiful Renaissance buildings from the late 19th century with many modern shops. There are a large number of paved branches, as the locals call them with the common name "Trap" - a place to shop.
In the afternoon arrival back in Sofia.
